My first blog post!

Hi everyone!  (everyone being - whoever is reading this)
I've always toyed with the idea of starting one of these up but never got around to it.  I first heard of these new fangled blog type things about 5 years ago.  At first I thought they were kind of dumb.  As in... "why would anyone want to ramble on about what's going on in their life for the entire world to see?"  That being said, I think I won't post on here much.  But we'll see.  :)

Today was the day of the day of the annual Whitehaven Road Baptist Church Outdoors Club whitewater rafting trip.  A group of 12 of us rafted the Genesee River at Letchworth State Park like we normally do.  The weather was GREAT and the river was ROARING.  12 of us had an exhilarating time enjoying the river, each other's company, and God's creation.  As always, Adventure Calls did an amazing job guiding us.  Julie got a migraine today.  THANKFULLY, it was after we got off the river.  Then it was off to Brian's USA Diner for a late lunch.

I think I ought to mow the lawn tomorrow seeing as how the backyard is slightly less squishy than it has been lately.
